EUROLAB Internacional at the conference “Empower. Integrate. Grow.”

       

The conference “Empower. Integrate. Grow.”, organized by GIZ Bosnia and Hercegovina and Montenegro, took place in Budva, Montengero on 27-28 January 2025. The conference gathered policymakers, EU officials, business leaders, and experts to discuss regional trade, structural reforms for 2024-2027, and deeper integration with EU Single Market. Ms. Erila Velaj, CEO of EUROLAB Internacional Grup was a panelist for the session: “Advancing Trade Integration – Policy Reforms to Overcome Challenges and Drive Regional Growth

In her discussion, Ms. Velaj emphasized key benefits of AEO (Authorized Economic Operator): “This process has improved our internal management 20-25% on our daily basis work; the AEO has improved our status like a diplomatic passport (when we need our partners, when we meet our logistic providers, suppliers, colleagues); simplifying the business relationship with other AEO certified businesses; double figures operation cost decrease; development of our team in every single process and it’s like an internal control of the company.” She recommended other companies to be part of AEO process as an efficient tool for business improvement and business relations within countries, with public agencies and within the region. Ms. Velaj suggested that the public agencies as well should be harmonized and recognize the AEO business at same level.
